Nokia 5.1 Plus Design

After grabbing Nokia 5.1 Plus, first of all, will be paying attention to the premium look of the phone. Nokia 5.1 Plus has a complete body of high-gloss which gives a stunning look to the phone. Looking at the phone, it seems that its price will be above Rs 15,000. At this price, the company has also used 2.5 d perfume glass on the back panel. Due to being Glassy Finish, Nokia 5.1 Plus has a Chihnahat, which makes it a Slippery. There were many such incidents with us when the phone dropped on the couch and floor, but there was no sign of any kind.

The phone has a 5.86-inch display (720x1520 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 19: 9. HMD Global has cut the corner to reduce the cost of the smartphone. The phone's display is not worthless, color vivid and impressively visible, black level is also good. The brightness in the sunlight is in sufficient quantity, due to which there is no problem while reading things on the display.

All buttons are given on the right side of the phone. In this budget segment, Nokia's brand of the smartphone comes with USB Type-C port. On the left side, you have sim-tray (two nano sim) that comes with dual 4G volt support. It is possible to increase the storage with the help of a MicroSD card, but for that, you have to remove the second SIM. This means that one nano sim and one card can only be installed at a time. Nokia 5.1 Plus's Notch Design first thing is big enough. Notch has not been used properly, that's because the notification has not been given by the company in Notch in the company. You will get a headset with the phone but the company has not provided silicon cover for the slippery body smartphone. Overall, Nokia 5.1 Plus is a great phone. The handset is lightweight with a premium look.

For speed and multitasking, Nokia 5.1 Plus will have MediaTek Hilio P60 Octa-core processor. Recall that HMD Global used the Hilio P18 chipset in the Nokia 5.1 smartphone. At this price, this chipset has scored a benchmark higher than the Snapdragon 636 chipset. While writing the review this phone is only being sold with 3GB RAM / 32GB storage variants. Speaking of connectivity, the smartphone category will come with 3 LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth version 4.2, FM radio, USB-OTG, and GPS support. If the phone's power button is pressed twice, the camera app opens. Nokia 5.1 Plus has not been given the option of hatching Nokia, this is not a big problem because the games or video players are not more stretches than the Nokia.

Performance of Nokia 5.1 Plus, Camera and Battery Life

While using the Nokia 5.1 Plus, we enjoyed a lot during the review. Because of the glassiness of the fingers, the fingers of the fingers fall easily, but once cleaned the marks are cleared. If you do not want to gloss the finish on the finish, keep the cover for it. While using GPS in Navigation, Chating and Uber App, the phone works correctly without any restriction. When playing the game, the spot near the LED flash starts to heat soon. Much of the phone does not get hot If the PUBG game is played for half an hour then the phone starts getting hot. At the bottom is a single loudspeaker, the voice is very fast when you do full volume. The microphone will be for the call but the button has not been given to control the music playback.

Compared to Nokia 5.1, the camera resolution in Nokia 5.1 Plus has been reduced. Remember that Nokia 5.1 had a 16-megapixel sensor on the back panel, while you will get a 13-megapixel primary sensor and the 5-megapixel depth sensor in Nokia 5.1 Plus. But after reviewing we have no complaints from the rear camera. The sensor gives better photo quality if the light is insufficient quantity when clicking a picture in a landscape shot. Even with auto-HDR, the sensor does not correct exposure many times. The secondary depth of the camera is average in portrait mode. After blurring, the photo gives an artificial look instead of the real. Apart from this, additional camera features are also provided as you can also apply a mask on someone's face. Beauty mode can be adjusted according to convenience, dual, PIIP, manual and panorama mode are also provided in the rear and front camera.

The phone is capable of recording video at 1080p, stabilization will always be on, the option to turn it off does not exist. Shimmer effects will not be much noticeable due to the adequate light due to electronic stabilization, but the quality of the video during a shooting at night is quite bad. In this, you will also get a slow-motion shooting feature, which records at a resolution of 720p per second with an average of 120 frames per second. The 8-megapixel camera will be a selfie, which gives a good picture when there is a sufficient amount of light, the screen flash also does not prove to be effective at night. In low light, the speed of the focus is slow, as well as the landscape mode is affected.

There is a 3060 mAh battery to make phone life, and the battery life of the phone is also good. Once charging we used the phone all day In the HD Video Loop Test, the phone offers a backup of 14 hours and 36 minutes. Nokia 5.1 Plus does not come with fast charging support, but the 10-watt charger that comes with the phone charges up to 56 percent in one hour. The phone can take about 2 hours to complete the charge.

Our decision

It would not be worth to say that Nokia 5.1 Plus is a great option for a price of Rs 10,999. We can understand that other companies' smartphones give high resolution at this price but during the review, we did not have any problem when using HD + display. The hybrid dual-sim slot can knock you down if you want to put two nano sims and cards together. The video performance in less light is less than the average. Nokia 5.1 Plus is a smart looking smartphone at this price. Apart from this, this handset is part of Google's Android One program, battery life is great, as well as the Nokia brand of handset chipset has been used in this handset.
